All of our dishes here at The Rockingham Arms Towton are created in-house by our talented chefs,
prepared using only the freshest of locally-sourced ingredients available to us.
Our carefully crafted menu displays a balanced mix of light bites, popular starters, classic pub mains, specials
and deliciously-sweet desserts, that we hope you'll love as much as we do.
Our mission is to provide real quality food, cooked by real people, with a whole lot of TLC mixed into the process.
So drop by and experience our famous Fish & Chips, freshly-fried in real ale from the bar.
Or melt into a food coma with one of our traditional roast dinners; a firm favourite with our Sunday diners!
Whether you're popping in for something small to nibble on at lunch time, or joining the family
for a full dinner experience, rest assured that the standard of food presented will always be the same.
Food Allergies & Intolerances
We understand how difficult it can be to eat out when you suffer from a food allergy or intolerance.
Which is why we've gone to great lengths to include a vast amount of dishes on our menu
that have been prepared using free-from gluten ingredients,
that can then be adapted to be totally gluten free*.
We are gradually increasing our dairy free, vegetarian and vegan offering,
and do have at least two options on our current menu that caters for most of your dietary needs.
We regularly stock Alpro almond milk behind the bar for hot drinks,
as well as Swedish Glace ice cream, that goes down a treat with our vegan & gluten free cheesecake dessert!
Although as a small business we do our very best to cater for everyone's needs as best we can,
we always appreciate our customers providing us with as much information as possible at the time of booking,
to ensure that their experience with us is the best it can be.
Please be assured, our team take allergies and intolerances very seriously,
so please make sure you speak to the person taking your food order about any special requirements you may have,
before you order your meal. Our team know just what to do to adapt your meal, but will only know, IF you advise us of any allergies or intolerances in the first instance!
(If you've mentioned it online at the time of booking a table, that's great,
but we STILL need to be told when you place your order).
We will only adapt your meal, IF you tell us to do so at the time of ordering.
We've just launched our new regular menu with a whole load of options on there for you, so look out for the GF / DF / V / VG codes to show you which dishes can be adapted to suit your personal requirements.
*Although every effort is taken to serve completely gluten free dishes wherever requested,
we can never guarantee that all traces of gluten will be completely eliminated. We have invested in a separate deep-fat fryer that's dedicated to cooking gluten free food, and have adapted our entire menu to accommodate gluten free diners, but must state that we are not Coeliac accredited.
Customer's always eat with us at their own risk.
You can find out more about food allergies on our menus and our FAQ's page

You can count on us for a smooth & refreshing
pint of Black Sheep's Best Bitter.
We also have a rotational Guest Ale on sale during busier periods,
so watch out for either a Golden, Blonde or Pale Ale from some of our other favourite breweries such as;
Isaac Poad, Great Newsome, Yorkshire Heart, Quirky Ales
Our draught tap range currently features a premium Italian lager,
Angelo Poretti, the Spanish favourite San Miguel,
the easy-drinking session lager, Fosters,

such as Corona, Budweiser and Kopparberg,
and we even have both gluten & alcohol free lagers and ales!
And if you just can't get enough of your favourite ale,
we've invested in two-pint hoppers,
so you can take a little taste of heaven along home with you...
It doesn't have to be the weekend to enjoy a large,
crisp glass of New Zealand Sauvignon,
or a juicy, full-bodied Argentinian Malbec.
Mid-week lunch time is also perfectly acceptable in our book!
We stock a humble selection of wines
that you won't find in regular supermarkets,
that make great matches for meal-pairing purposes.

to complement your food choice.
