Julia Child
Introduction
All of our home-made dishes here at The Rockingham Arms are created in-house by our chefs,
prepared using only the freshest of locally-sourced ingredients available to us.
Whether you're popping in
for something small to nibble on at lunch time,
or joining the family for a full dinner experience,
rest assured the standard of food presented
will always be the same.

Favourites
Our carefully selected menu contains a balanced mix
of light bites, popular starters, classic pub mains
and deliciously-sweet desserts,
that we hope you'll love as much as we do.
Drop by and experience our famous Fish & Chips,
freshly-fried in real ale batter.
Or melt into a food coma with one of our
traditional Roast Dinners;
a firm favourite with our regular diners on Sundays!
Our mission is to provide real quality food, cooked by real people,
with a whole lot of TLC mixed into the process...
Food Allergies & Intolerances

We understand how difficult it can be to eat out
when you suffer from a food allergy or intolerance.
Which is why we've included a great selection of dishes
on our menus that can be adapted and prepared
using free-from gluten ingredients.
We can sometimes cater for other dietary requirements too,
with at least 24 hours notice.
We regularly stock Soya milk as an alternative to dairy,
so that our dairy-intolerant customers may enjoy a hot drink with us!
We take allergies and intolerances very seriously here,
so please remember to inform a member of our team of any special requirements you may have,
before placing your order.
Look out for the code 'GF' on our menus to show that those particular dishes
can be adapted to cater for gluten-free diners, if they're not already prepared that way.

What's your favourite tipple?

We're proud holders of the National Cask Marque Award,
the renowned accreditation for well-kept ale.
You can always count on us for a smooth & refreshing
pint of Black Sheep's Best Bitter.
We also have a rotational Guest Ale on sale during busier periods,
so watch out for either a Golden, Blonde or Pale Ale from some of our other favourite breweries such as;
Isaac Poad, Great Newsome, Yorkshire Heart, Quirky Ales
and Pennine.
Our draught tap range currently features a premium Italian lager,
Angelo Poretti, the Spanish favourite San Miguel,
the easy-drinking session lager, Fosters,
Guinness, Magners and 'The Golden Beer' - Wainwright.
There's also a small variety of bottled lager and flavoured cider available,
including both Alcohol Free and Gluten Free Peroni!
And if you just can't get enough of your favourite ale, we've invested in two-pint hoppers,
so you can take a little taste of heaven along home with you!
'Wine' Not?!
It doesn't have to be the weekend to enjoy a large,
crisp glass of New Zealand Sauvignon,
or a juicy, full-bodied Argentinian Malbec.
Mid-week lunch time is also perfectly acceptable in our book!
We stock a humble selection of wines
that you won't find in regular supermarkets,
that make great matches for meal-pairing purposes.
Be sure to ask for a taster to find the best one
to complement your food choice.
